Free beta for Mac

Every camera.
One clock. One video.

Something happened, and every camera caught a different piece of it: your dashcam, your doorbell, the driveway camera, a neighbour’s, a phone. Camposite puts every angle on one timeline, lines them up to the second, and turns them into one video you can follow, plus a report you can hand to your insurer or the police.

For Macs with Apple silicon · macOS 15 or later · Everything stays on your Mac

Illustration: the same moment from four cameras at once. A dashcam view fills most of the frame, a doorbell and a driveway camera sit beside it, and a phone clip is inset. Each shows its own time. How it works

Three steps. No editing skills.

  1. Drop in every angle.

Any mix of cameras: front and rear dashcams, doorbells, Ring, Wyze, Reolink, Hikvision, Dahua and other recorders, phones. Even the AVI and .dav files recorders export.

  2. It lines them up for you.

It works out when each clip was filmed, from the time each camera records, the sound, or the action itself (a light coming on, a car passing), and puts every clip where it belongs.

  3. Get one video, and the proof.

Every angle in one frame: side by side, one large with the others inset, staggered however you like, or switching as the action moves — with a close-up of a face or a number plate playing alongside the whole scene. Plus a PDF report with stills from every camera at the moments that matter and any plates it read, and an evidence pack of exact copies of your originals with tamper-evident fingerprints. Sized for email, an upload portal or a phone in one click.

Why Camposite

Built for what happened, not for film-making.

Video editors line clips up by sound. Security cameras often record none, every brand writes a different file, and no two clocks agree. Camposite is made for exactly that mess.

  • Made for combining anglesCars, doorbells, security cameras and phones in one frame, in any shape (widescreen, square, or upright for phones), changing as the story moves. Drag any camera to the size and place you want and show just the part that matters.
  • No editing skills neededDrop the files in. It arranges them; you watch.
  • One click to make it clearYou don’t need to know how much to sharpen or which tool does what. Auto Fix looks at every camera’s picture and sound, then brightens what’s dark, calms grain, steadies a shaky phone, sharpens zoomed-in detail and makes quiet voices easy to hear. It shows what it changed, each with a checkbox to take it back, and if something still isn’t right, just say so: Too dark, Too blurry, Hard to hear.
  • Silent cameras line up tooFootage with no sound still lands in the right place.
  • Tells you whose clock is wrongWhich camera’s clock is off, and by how much.
  • Your OdinCam footage, ready as it isDrop in your OdinCam folder and every camera lands on a track of its own, named for it, at the moment it filmed. Saving the project marks those recordings Keep, so OdinCam never clears out the footage your case depends on.
  • Hear what was saidQuiet doorbell and dashcam sound made loud and clear: up to +50 dB louder, loud and quiet cameras evened out, the steady hiss or hum a camera adds taken out (even with just one camera), voices brought out over traffic, wind, sirens and music (everything else turned down by up to 20 dB, never cut out, and your originals untouched), a repeating noise like a generator or a tick removed from one example, and background noise cleaned using the other cameras.
  • Find the moment fastPeople, vehicles and animals found on every camera, one key to jump to the next; everything said written down and searchable, each line one click from its moment; a highlight reel made for you.
  • Blurs bystandersFaces and number plates blurred in the video, the stills and the report before you share, and kept hidden as a head turns or a car drives past.
  • Clearer plates and faces, nothing inventedCombines the frames around a moment to bring out real detail the camera caught, and finds the moment, in any of your cameras, where it’s seen best.
  • Reads plates and signsReads a number plate or sign from every frame that caught it and shows how many agree, look-alikes like O and 0 included. On real street signs in our tests, combining the frames read 10 of 15 exactly right, where a single frame read none. The reading goes in the report.
  • Follows a face or a moving carBox it once, or pick a face, and a close-up follows it across the picture, playing beside the whole scene in the video you export.
  • Fixes awkward footageSteadies a shaky phone, brightens night footage, straightens the bent lines of a wide-angle doorbell or dashcam, clears the comb lines older recorders leave on anything moving, and calms night-time grain using the frames either side.
  • Keeps the original picture when it canTrim, join or clean up the sound without touching the picture, and the camera’s own video is copied into the new file as it is: quick, with nothing lost to re-compressing. MOV or MP4, your choice.
  • Private and secure by designYour footage never leaves your Mac: the app has no internet access at all, no account and no tracking, and its AI runs on your Mac too. Originals are fingerprinted so anyone can check they weren't altered. Security & Privacy
Where it helps

One clip for the insurer. The whole path, not a piece.

On the road

A hit-and-run or a scrape in a car park: your front and rear dashcams, the other driver’s, and the shop camera, in one clip for the insurer.

At home

A package taken or a car broken into: doorbell, driveway and side gate, plus the neighbour’s camera, showing the whole path.

At work

A fall or a dispute on the premises: every camera in the building on one clock, for HR or the adjuster.

FAQ

Questions

Is it Mac only?

Yes, for now. It needs a Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 15 Sequoia or later.

How much does it cost?

The beta is free. After launch it stays free to try; exporting a clean, full-resolution video is planned as a one-time purchase (planned at $49). No subscription.

Do I need to know which settings to use?

No. Click Auto Fix and it checks each video and its sound and fixes what it finds: dark, grainy, shaky, soft or zoomed-in video, and quiet, noisy or uneven sound. Every change is listed with a checkbox to take it back. Still not right? Buttons like Too dark and Hard to hear turn that fix up a step. The detailed controls are all still there, one click away, for anyone who wants them.

Which files does it open?

MP4, MOV and M4V as they are; AVI, MKV, ASF, WMV and FLV from recorders and PCs; raw .264 and .265 streams; Dahua .dav; and MPEG streams (.ts, .mts, .ps), including Hikvision “.mp4” files that are really program streams. Recorder files are rewrapped for playback on import, with the picture copied untouched.

My recorder only exports a player .exe.

Those self-playing exports aren’t supported, but most recorders can also export plain video (MP4 or AVI). Camposite’s Help shows how for Ring, Wyze, Arlo, Google Nest, UniFi Protect, Reolink, Hikvision, Dahua, Tesla and common dashcams.

Does my footage get uploaded anywhere?

No. Camposite works entirely on your Mac. There’s no account, and the app has no permission to use the network. See Security & Privacy.

Can I use it as evidence?

It helps you show what happened, but it isn’t forensic certification. Your originals stay as they were (unless you choose Replace Original), and the evidence pack keeps exact copies with SHA-256 fingerprints so anyone can check nothing was altered. For court, give the originals and the evidence pack to your lawyer or investigator.

When does the beta start?

Honest use
